Naya Rivera, 'Sorry' and 'Glee' Singer, Wants to Collaborate with Jennifer Lopez
Naya Rivera of Glee wants to make a song with J.Lo, better known as Jennifer Lopez, according to reports. Rivera stated in an interview with Rap-Up and again in a chat with Karli Henriquez of Latina that she'd love to do a duet with her idol.
"I really want to do a song with J.Lo and I sort of talked to her about it," Naya stated during a red carpet interview with Karli Henriquez. "That be really good, right?" she asked of the potential song.
She then went on to have a similar conversation with Rap-Up.
"I would love to work with J.Lo. I'm kinda going after that one," Rivera disclosed to Rap-Up. "She's the definition of longevity and what it means to be an empire and a brand and to still be liked at the same time."
The "Sorry" singer, 26, also stated that she spoke to J.Lo about the possible collaboration. In the same conversation with Lopez, Rivera indicated that J.Lo confessed that she was a fan of Rivera and the song "Sorry."
Now, they are allegedly in talks to produce a song for Rivera's debut album, which is due out in 2014. Rivera indicated that the song would most likely have a "'90s throwback vibe."
Rivera's album promises to have a wealth of collaboration, and already features her fiancé Big Sean.
Rivera has flexed her vocal ability for the last four season of Glee, and has received some serious recognition for her performance of "If I Die Young" that was featured on the last episode, "The Quarterback," an episode that commemorated the life and legacy of Cory Monteith.
