Selena Gomez performed a tearful rendition of her song "Love Will Remember" at her concert in Brooklyn on Wednesday, and many are thinking it could be related to her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Selena and the Biebs have been in a rollercoaster ride since they got together in 2011. From rumors of infidelity, to several break-ups and reconciliations, to songs written about each other - the two have been through a lot. And while the two have already called it quits earlier this year, it seems that the feelings are still fresh to Selena Gomez.

At the Brooklyn leg of her Stars Dance tour, the 21-year-old singer sang her ballad "Love Will Remember" - a song reported to be about Justin - and it became a waterfall for Selena. Fox News reports that she was teary throughout the performance, shedding "more than a few tears" while singing the song.

"Gomez was teary throughout the entire song, but she had a particularly tough time getting through the lyrics, 'We used to be inseparable, I used to think that I was irreplaceable'", the website wrote.

"Love Will Remember" is rumored to be written about Selena's ex-boyfriend, Bieber. TMZ even reports that when the original version of the song leaked online, it even featured a voicemail from Justin to Selena.

Notably, in an interview with InStyle magazine earlier this year, Selena hinted about what the song is about.

"Obviously, 'Love Will Remember' is a personal song to me and I don't really need to say anything. I think my fans will get it. I think people will figure it out themselves...I'm sure he'll like it too," EntertainmentWise.com notes.

While Selena could also have been emotional thinking about her fans and how they've been supporting her all these year, it is worth noting that JB has been sending signals to the singer that he still wants her back. This may have caused a stir of emotions for Selena.
