Tim Tebow News Rumors: St. Louis Rams Interested In Signing Former Quarterback?
Tim Tebow hasn't seen any time in the NFL since getting cut by the New England Patriots in the preseason, but there may be an opportunity waiting for him in St. Louis.
Rams starting quarterback Sam Bradford recently went down with an injury and the Rams have had to scramble to find a replacement. According to Mike Silver at the NFL Network, the Rams "have discussed signing Tim Tebow."
Many people predicted that Tebow would never get signed again after his latest trial run in New England proved to be a failure. Tebow has already completed stints with the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos in his short lived career but he has never found much success besides a playoff run with the Broncos.
Despite criticism that Tebow's arm will not get him far in the NFL - which prompted calls for him to try out at tight end or other positions - he has maintained that he will continue to pursue his goal of becoming a starting quarterback in the NFL.
Back in September following his release from the Patriots, Tebow took to Twitter to show the world that he had no interest in playing any other position besides quarterback.
"I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback," he said.
Tebow is still one of the most popular athletes in the nation and many fans still love to watch him after his highly successful tenure in college at Florida. Jacksonville Jaguars fans even planned a rally in September to push the team to sign Tebow.
