An NBA 2K15 roster and game update seems to be released every single week, and due to injuries and trades, it's often necessary so that gamers can get a real simulation of the NBA.

In the past, if a player was traded, injured or released, gamers had to update the rosters themselves or leave them alone. Now, since consoles are almost always connected to the Internet, roster updates and game improvements can be sent to gamers' consoles whenever they are released.

While there were no updates about locker codes in recent days, we can still take a look at some recent roster updates for NBA 2K15.

On Monday, NBA 2K15 updated a trade involving Jeff Green going from the Boston Celtics to the Memphis Grizzlies and Tayshaun Prince heading to Boston. It also updated Austin Rivers leaving the New Orleans Pelicans to go to Boston.

There are rumors Rivers could soon be packing his bags yet again to head to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Player ratings and attributes were also updated to reflect performance on the court. A player, based on his position, gets rated in different categories. Centers and forwards are rated differently than guards.

Some notable changes include:

  • Derrick Rose: Overall (OVR) 86 (down 1), Standing Three -6, Moving Three -12, Moving Mid Range -3, Standing Mid Range -5
  • Pau Gasol OVR 86 (up 2) Box Out +5, Offensive Consistency +10, Standing Mid Range +5, Stand Still Close +4, Moving Close +3
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo OVR 78 (up 1), Driving Layup +7, Standing Mid Range -6, Shot FT +5
  • Joakim Noah OVR 84 (down 1), Standing Layup -5, Standing Mid Range -2, Post Hook -6
