The original "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson, 31, and talent manager Brandon Blackstock, 36, were married on Sunday, October 20. The wedding took place at a blackberry farm in Walland, Tenn. which was built in the 1970s in the Great Smoky Mountains. On Monday afternoon, Clarkson shared details about her secretive, intimate ceremony via Twitter.
"I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!" she tweeted with two accompanying wedding photos, one of the groom kissing the bride, and the other one of the newlyweds in the countryside.
The couple first met in 2006 during rehearsals for the American Country Music Awards and six years later, they began dating. In December 2012, Blackstock proposed to the Grammy winner with a custom ring featuring a giant yellow canary diamond surrounded with white diamonds, which Clarkson tweeted, "Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt. They did an amazing job!"
The newlyweds had originally wanted to have a big October wedding, however they later thought a small wedding would better suit them - so they planned to do something smaller and more intimate with just the couple and Blackstock's two children, Savannah and Seth, 11 and 7-years-old respectively.
Kelly Clarkson was wearing a gorgeous white, lace gown called "Jessamine" from Temperley Bridal's Iris collection, along with a Maria Elena headpieces headband, which totally completed her look. "Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!" the singer tweeted.
The singer mentioned that she loves being a stepmom to Blackstock's two children and that she's even ready to expand the family with a baby of her own.
"Like soon! Brandon, he's a great dad and we wanted to make sure it's cool with [his kids], but they are really pumped about it. We actually probably want two more and he's got two, so four total. [The oldest] will be in her teens, so that's kind of like a live-in baby sitter!" said Clarkson.
