‘Teen Mom 2' News 2015: Jenelle Evans Apologizes for Wishing Brother-in-Law Died in Combat
On Thursday, Jan. 15, "Teen Mom 2" star, Jenelle Evans took to Twitter to reveal she had already apologized privately for derogatory statements she made to her fiancé's brother who is an American war veteran, RadarOnline reports.
Evans' apology follows a video recently published on YouTube of Evans yelling at her soon-to-be brother-in-law, Noah, and wishing death on him.
"I hope you would have died in combat. I hope you f*cking die. ... I heard your best friend got killed in the war," Evans says in the video.
Evans immediately received backlash from social media users who slammed the reality star for wishing death on a veteran and described her as a hypocrite for talking down to her family member given her tumultuous past and run-ins with the law.
"Obviously some comments were made to Jenelle that made her angry but there is no justification for wishing death upon someone," YouTube user Tory R wrote. "People that die in combat are fighting for her and her family and for Jenelle to say that is unbelievable."
Another YouTube user, JeremyNG25 said, "The girl has 13 mugshots and no custody of [her son] Jace. She's a criminal... and slams people who serve our country. She even joked about his friend dying in combat but she's a good mother?? Lol."
RadarOnline reported Evans's fight with Noah stemmed from his and his wife's refusal to pay their hotel, food and transportation bills while accompanying Evans and her fiancé, Nathan, on a vacation to St. Thomas.
When Evans confronted Noah and his wife about the bill, an argument quickly erupted with Noah allegedly calling Evans a bad mother and threatening to have his wife, Paula, beat her.
Evans quickly responded to Noah's threat by telling him she wished he had died in combat.
Despite the heated argument, Evans and Noah have since apologized to each other and are attempting to move on as a family.
