The Skyfall cheat is one of the fun and new parts of the latest game in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 5, but people have had some issues with being able to carry it out effectively.

A video posted to YouTube helps to show the correct way to survive when you try this cheat. Believe it or not, the easiest way to survive is by falling flat on your face. Any other way tends to result in an unsuccessful attempt and you are forced to restart.

This cheat is effective when it comes to getting around the map in a much faster way than having to land a helicopter or parachute. You're able to get to the ground without any caution.

The highly acclaimed action video game has been known for its success domestically in the United States but it is also faring well abroad. It was reported this week that GTA 5 has been successful in Japan and has now broken records that were held by the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City video game.

In terms of sales records, GTA 5 shattered seven different Guinness World Records, including the "Fastest entertainment property to gross $1 billion." Among other records, the game also broke records for the highest grossing video game in 24 hours as well as the most viewed trailer for an action-adventure video game.

The main criticism of the game has pertained to its online gameplay; there were connection issues on the servers and Rockstar Games received praise when it responded to the situation by awarding each of the online gamers with $500,000 of free virtual money in the game.
