Perhaps movie fans might be able to see Kristen Stewart saving the world, wearing a cape or a spandex costume, in the future.

The 24-year-old actress, who currently has a total of 33 film credits in the past 15 years of her acting career, is now interested in trying different genre in films that she has not had the chance to -- like the next Marvel superhero movie.

"I love watching those movies," she told Yahoo Movies. "I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance. I'm sure I could get on board with 'Captain America,' you know what I mean? ... It would just have to be the right thing."

Stewart noted her past role as the protagonist in dark fantasy adventure "Snow White and Huntsman" could be a start for her.

Meanwhile, Stewart has been romantically linked to her best friend Alicia Cargile lately, following her infamous split from boyfriend Robert Pattinson. According to RadarOnline.com, the two are so close to the point they even got matching tattoos of arrows on their right arms together.

"They are inseparable and mimic each other's everything," an insider claimed.

The source also suggested the female pair, who was seen showing off PDA while on their recent vacation, might be more than just friends.

"When Kristen and Alicia were in Hawaii for New Years, I am sure that they thought no one was going to see them, but they are not exactly nonchalant about their relationship anymore," the source explained. "She just doesn't care what people think anymore. Kristen is happy and she is just being herself. She doesn't need to worry about where her next role is going to come from nowadays because she has proven herself as an actress."
