Katie Cassidy, Chrissy Teigen Twitter Beef Fight: 'Arrow' Cast Member Offers to Send Model a Book During Feud Over Erin Andrews
On Sunday, model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen initiated a Twitter war with "Arrow" actress Katie Cassidy, who mocked Teigen's friend Erin Andrews' abilities as a news sportscaster.
Teigen interjected herself in a Twitter discussion Cassidy and her "Arrow" co-star Stephen Amell were having over Andrews' failure to ask Seahawks player Richard Sherman why he chose to stay on the field while he was injured. The reporter's interview with Sherman prompted Amell and Cassidy to tweet out that she was not doing her job.
Check out their tweets below:
Teigen immediately included herself in Amell and Cassidy's conversation as she is apparently close friends with Andrews and often vacations with her, according to Us Magazine. Teigen defended Andrews' sportscasting abilities and accused Cassidy of not having a job. Naturally, this sparked a war of words between the two women and ended in Teigen calling Cassidy unholy, and Cassidy describing Teigen as completely negative.
While Cassidy and Teigen went at it on Twitter, Andrews chose to stay out of it and did not involve herself in the Twitter beef. Amell also kept quite amidst the Twitter war.
Prior to starting an online argument with Cassidy, Teigen attempted to start a Twitter beef with "The Real" co-host Tamera Mowry following her pregnancy announcement earlier this month. While Mowry's colleagues and friends shared their excitement over the news, Teigen was accused of dissing the "Sister, Sister" actress's pregnancy news. A few hours after Mowry's announcement, Teigen apparently took notice of the fact that Mowry was also promoting the purchase of Clearblue pregnancy sticks.
Teigen addressed the sponsorship on Twitter and sarcastically tweeted on Sunday that she too might promote Clearblue if it had sponsored her, saying it "seems lucrative."
Although Teigen did not directly acknowledge who she was referring to in the tweet, social media users immediately assumed the tweet was aimed at Mowry and accused Teigen of throwing shade and being negative on such a joyous occasion.
Mowry did not respond to Teigen's alleged shade.
