Beyonce New Album 2013 Release Date, Tracklist & Songs: Pharrell Says It's Almost Done
Beyoncé has been crafting her highly-anticipated forthcoming album for some time now. The multi-talented producer Pharrell Williams recently spoke about Beyoncé's upcoming album, which he has been working on. He also shared the status of her new album that the album is not only happening, but it is almost done in process.
Everybody is waiting for Queen Bey to release her new project. However, just a few months ago, there had been speculation about the album's status, which was fueled by Diplo's remarks on the album.
"I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried. I think she scrapped the record," said Diplo. "The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand-new ideas."
The producer/DJ's statement stirred up confusions of many, leading some to believe that Beyoncé's entire album was dead in the water. Luckily, it turned out that he was only referencing a single track, and Diplo later on clarified on Twitter, "When I say 'record' I'm talking about one song smdh... Music journalism sucks."
Beyoncé's album is indeed progressing. In fact, the Neptunes producer said it is almost done.
"B's album is crazy," said Pharrell. "Let me tell you what it is. She's very particular. She's a Virgo. And she's not going to put it out until it's ready and feels like it's right to her. She's got a very specific taste. I guess that's the reason she's Beyoncé. Her name is recognizable around the globe and that's huge. That comes from someone that has very particular taste. When you know what you want, you won't stop until you get it. [Other people are hearing her album] and are like 'Whoa.' And she's like, 'Yeah, I'm almost done.' And she's the queen."
Pharrell and Beyoncé both already have successful experiences in collaborating together on several records, including "Kitty Kat" and "Green Light" from Beyoncé's second studio album "B'day," and "Work It Out," which is the lead single from the soundtrack album of the film "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and a track from her debut album, "Dangerously in Love."
