Pharrell is set to make a cameo as himself in an upcoming episode of "The Simpsons" next month.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Feb. 8 episode titled "Walking Big & Tall" is actually based on the true story about a Milwaukee TV station in the 1980s hiring a composer, who writes a city-pride jingle and ends up recycling the same song and selling it to other cities.

When the characters find out about what the composer has done, the "Happy" hitmaker is expected to come to the rescue and resolve the musical issue, as "The Simpsons" executive Al Jean said: "Pharrell offers to write a new anthem for the town."

Skateboard P is the latest guest star to visit the Simpson family's hometown of Springfield in the current season 26. He joins a list that includes comedians Nick Offerman and Sarah Silverman, Sammy Hagar, also known as The Red Rocker from the 1970s band Montrose and "Saturday Night Live" cast member Will Forte, as well as the cast of adult animated sci-fi sitcom "Futurama."

On the same day the show airs on FOX, the multitalented artist will perform at the upcoming 57th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where he is nominated for a total of six awards - including Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album for his second studio album "Girl," and Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video for his 2014 smash hit "Happy."

The renowned producer is also up for two different awards for Album of the Year for his contributions on Beyoncé's self-titled album and Chris Brown's "X."
