Rafael Nadal will look to book a spot in the quarterfinal when he sees action again in Day Seven of the 2015 Australian Open in Melbourne, Australia.

Nadal, who admitted before the tournament that he is not expecting to win the title in Melbourne this year following a long layoff late last year, will go up against 14th seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa.

The 14-time Grand Slam champion, who did not play for the majority of 2014 due to a wrist injury and appendicitis, is coming off an impressive 6-1, 6-0, 7-5 win against Dudi Sela of Israel, which came after almost being eliminated by Tim Smyczek of United States in the second round.

Nadal won the tournament in 2009 and finished runner-up to Stan Wawrinka last year. The athlete is hoping to sustain his form and improve his rhythm, but Anderson is determined to pull off an upset. The 28-year-old advanced to the second round with a hard-earned 6-4, 7-6, 7-6 win against 24th seed Richard Gasquet of France.

The Nadal-Anderson match is expected to start late Saturday night as it will be third match of the first session at Rod Laver Arena, which is set to start at 7 p.m. EST. The winner of this match will advance to the quarterfinal and will face either Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic or Bernard Tomic, who are also set to collide in Day Seven.

Sixth seed Andy Murray of Great Britain will also see action against 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria on Sunday morning at Rod Laver Arena.

Murray is coming off a convincing 6-1, 6-1, 7-5 victory over Joao Sousa of Portugal, while Dimitrov needed five sets to defeat Marcos Baghdatis of Bulgaria. Murray expects a tough game against Dimitrov on Sunday.

"It will be a tough match obviously," Murray said to the Australian Open about facing Dimitrov. "He's played well in the slams the last year or so. Yeah, he's obviously a talented player. You know, he's one of the young guys trying to make a breakthrough, so he'll be motivated. Hopefully I can play a good match and make it tough for him."

On the women's side, Maria Sharapova will also resume her quest for a second Australian Open title when she faces Peng Shuai of China in the fourth round. The Sharapova-Peng match will start before the showdown between Nadal and Anderson on Saturday night.
