Real Housewives of New Jersey Cast News: Gia Giudice Says Mom Teresa Giudice is Doing ‘Amazing’ in Prison
Gia Giudice, daughter of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, recently opened up to Access Hollywood about her mother's experience in prison and how she is coping at home without the presence of her mother.
"We can talk to her on a daily [basis] and we have access to emailing her whenever we want," Gia said. "So that's amazing. It definitely helps with like coping with missing her and stuff."
The 14-year-old reality star also revealed she recently paid a visit to her mother and was relieved to see that she's doing "amazing."
"Amazing" is also the word Gia used to describe her father, Joe, who she claims is stepping up and taking care of her and her siblings while Teresa is away.
"I mean, my dad has been amazing. Like, he's honestly the rock. He's helping us so much," she said.
In addition to talking about her mother's prison life, Giudice also opened up her music group's new song. "Just 13" is 3KT's song about growing up in the public eye and dealing with the stresses of being away from a parent.
"My voice teacher and I sat down and we just basically like poured out our thoughts," she said about her experience writing the song.
"It was really just a song based on my experience and what I'm going through, and it was really just me and her like really writing it out and just expressing ourselves. I just want [my fans] to know that I'm okay, but also give them a little input of what I'm going through."
E! News describes the music video for "Just 13" as emotional and heart wrenching.
In the video, Gia sings in front of a black background while images of her and her mother appear on-screen.
Teresa will reportedly spend 12 months in jail for bankruptcy fraud and be home in time for the next holiday season.
Meanwhile, Teresa's husband, Joe, will begin serving his 41-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud in jail following his wife's release from prison.
