2015 SAG Awards Date, Time & Preview: Predictions & What to Expect from the 21st Annual Award Show
The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are next on the lineup for the 2015 award season.
With only a few hours left until show time, here are a few things to know about this year's ceremony honoring the best in film and television.
Where to watch: The SAG Awards' red carpet coverage will air Sunday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. EST on E! Washington Post reports. E! correspondents Maria Menounos, Kelly Osbourne and Ross Mathews will be covering the red carpet to show viewers the best and the worst in fashion at this year's SAG awards.
For those who wish to catch the live red carpet coverage online, they can head over to the SAG Awards website for live streaming or People.com, adds the Washington Post.
As for the actual show, fans can tune in to TBS or TNT at 8 p.m. EST for the full two-hour ceremony, E! News reports.
What to expect at the show: Aside from watching all of Hollywood's elite assemble together for one big night, fans can expect to see award-winning actress, Debbie Reynolds receive this year's Lifetime achievement award at the SAG awards, says E! News.
Fans can also expect to see the precursor wins for the Academy awards. E! News suggests that most actors that win the SAG awards are more than likely to go on to win the Academy Awards.
"In three of the past four years, all four actors who won SAG Awards went on to win Oscars," says E! News.
SAG Award predictions: Although the SAG awards honor those in both film and television, the most talked about predictions are about the film categories.
Variety's predictions for this year's SAG Awards' film categories are J.K. Simmons in "Whiplash" to win for Actor in a Supporting Role, Patricia Arquette in "Boyhood" for Actress in a Supporting Role, Michael Keaton in "Birdman" for Actor in a Lead Role, Julianne Moore in "Still Alice" for Actress in a Lead Role and "Birdman" for the Ensemble category.
