Despite the engagement speculation last month, Ariana Grande is reportedly not ready to settle down with boyfriend Big Sean just yet.

"Ariana told their friends she's not even thinking of marriage yet," a source told Dish Nation. "She's very happy in her relationship with Big Sean and loves him very dearly. They are soul mates and do everything together."

The source also claimed that the 21-year-old pop star thinks being engaged is not for her age at the moment: "But she's still so young. She said to her friends that there's still much more for her to see in the world.

"She wants to go traveling, not stop in countries for one night for tours but properly explore like any young person wants to do," the source said. "She still feels like she has to live a little -- and doesn't want to be tied down in a marriage, have kids, or do anything like that for a while."

The "I Don't F-ck With You" rapper apparently told mutual friends he believes the "Love Me Harder" singer is "the one" and asked them to find out her thoughts on that -- and he was disappointed to discover the truth.

"Obviously, that left Big Sean a little upset -- and he's just wondering if Ariana feels the same as he does," the source said. "He's [smitten] with her, they grew up with each other, and their relationship is built upon a deep affection for one another.

"But he will just take this one on the chin, for now. He doesn't expect Ariana, given her age, to marry him tomorrow," the source added. "He just would like to know if they're on the same page, and if perhaps wedding bells are in their future."

HollywoodLife.com previously reported Big Sean had bought Ariana Grande a custom-designed ring for Christmas, suggesting a marriage proposal was coming. 

"Sean is giving Ariana a ring for Christmas. He wants to show her how committed he is," an insider said. "I'm not sure if he's going to ask her to marry him. I don't think he even knows that yet. But he got a ring made for her."

However, one thing is reportedly certain: "He's so in love with her," the insider said. "It wouldn't shock any of us if he does pop the question over the holidays because he's already talking like she's the one."
