Best Dressed Men at the 2015 SAG Awards: Ty Burrell, Eddie Redmayne, Lenny Kravitz, Jim Parsons & More
The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) were certainly a black tie affair and more than one man wore the classic black tux with style and finesse.
"Modern Family" dad Ty Burrell wore a suave Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo rendition with bowtie and an eye-catching checkered pocket handkerchief.
If Eddie Redmayne's handsome, double-breasted Prada suit wasn't enough to steal hearts, his passionate speech on behalf of people battling ALS following his best actor win for playing Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything" certainly did.
"I'd like to dedicate the award, this very wonderful, skinny man, to those people around the world living with ALS, to those who have lost their lives to this brutal disease," Redmayne said. "To Stephen and Jane back in Cambridge, thank you for allowing someone who gave up science when they were 14 years old to enter your orbit ... Thank you for reminding me of the overwhelming power of the will to love and the will to live every second of your life as fully and as passionately as possible."
Lenny Kravitz delivered a sexy, rock star vibe along the red carpet with his all-black tuxedo, undershirt and dark sunglasses ensemble. "The Hunger Games" star presented the award for Outstanding Performance By an Ensemble in a Comedy Series to "Orange Is the New Black" cast, who triumphed over rival casts "Modern Family," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "The Big Bang Theory."
The most unusual tuxedo award goes to Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who turned heads with his custom textured Hickey Freeman tux.
"The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parsons looked dapper in an Ermenegildo Zegna suit and tie, but it was his red-soled Christian Louboutins that stole the show.
The biggest surprise at the SAG Awards was the unexpected appearance of actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis. The camera panned on Galifianakis during the opening of the show when he quipped, "I'm Zach Galifianakis and I'm an actor?" Some people laughed while others wondered if it was really him. It was indeed the "Hangover" actor who lost a significant amount of weight over the past two years.
