Scream Nation: The Reintroduction Tour Dates & Tickets: 'Body Language' Artist Kid Ink and 'Try Me' Rapper DeJ Loaf to Headline 2015 Concerts
Kid Ink and his "Be Real" collaborator DeJ Loaf are set to headline the upcoming Scream Nation: The Reintroduction Tour.
"I'm excited to be a part of the reintroduction of such a prestigious touring brand as Scream," said the "Show Me" hitmaker according to Billboard. "It's a brand I grew up respecting and admiring. I can't wait to hit the road and get this started."
The six-week, 24-city Scream Tour actually marks the first joint project between Live Nation and Michael Mauldin, the creator of the popular hip-hop/R&B franchise. The last formal trek took place in 2012, with chart-topping artists like Chris Brown, Trey Songz, T.I. and Ciara.
"The Scream Tour first came to prominence in 2001 and has since played an integral part in the discovery and promotion of some of the most successful artists in urban, hip-hop and pop music," Mauldin stated.
"The Scream Tour has long been a powerful brand among urban music fans. Live Nation is proud to extend this incredible experience to a new generation of artists and fans," added David Zedeck, Live Nation's executive president of global talent & artist development.
Live Nation originally announced that Jeremih was also a headliner on the new tour, however the R&B artist denied the news by tweeting:
