Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been making waves on U.K. charts, hitting the top spot this week and beating another heavyweight, Battlefield 4. With this success, many are already talking about the fifth installment of the video game franchise and where and when it could be set.

The time travelling plot of the Assassin's Creed series has been a huge hit among gamers, and so far, the fourth installment to the series isn't about to fail the fans. Released just last Tuesday, the game has shot to number 1 in the U.K. sales charts, reports EuroGamer.net. It beats EA Games' Battlefield 4 nestled in second, FIFA 14 in third, Grand Theft Auto 5 in fourth, and Batman: Arkham Origins in the fifth spot.

Notably, the game hasn't reached its peak yet, with the budding release of next generation consoles Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, to which the game will be launched as well.

With the Black Flag's impressive gameplay, many are already looking forward to what part 5 will have in store for them. Fans are wondering where the setting for the game will be headed next. Well, according to Forbes, an Easter Egg within AC4 has the answer.

Assassin Creed allows gamers to read present time emails about "the conflict between the Templars and Assassins, the use of the memory syncing animus, and more," writes Forbes. One particular email in AC4, however, details which places and periods has Desmond visited already to find his assassin ancestors, and which other places he could still visit. "The four major time periods of the series are present...But more pressingly, there's a list of time periods and locations the series has not yet covered," the report wrote. "The email is giving players hope that they might find a new Assassin's Creed title set in Egypt, Japan, France or other locations. These are actually places we've heard rumors about before."

Moreover, Assassin's Creed 4 director Ashraf Ismail confirmed to Examiner.com that these places are already being looked into for the game's next installments. However, he notes that these are all fan requests and nothing has been written in stone.

"I'm not saying we are going there, but one day I would love to explore Egypt as a setting for this game. Ancient Egypt could be a really cool place. We have a really cool explanation for how we can do this, and it is with this Animus device that allows us to go to anytime in history."

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is currently available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
