Instagram users immediately flocked to Kardashian's page to mock her and comment on North West's dissatisfied demeanor.
"Maybe she finally realized her name is stupid and she is pissed," Instagram user @fitnesslife94.
Another Instagram user @raymanbro101 wrote, "I think she's scared because her mom broke the Internet."
Following the backlash, Kardashian posted another photo of herself with a smiling North West and captioned the photo, "My snuggle bear."
North West's heartfelt photos with Kardashian follows father Kanye West's debut of his music for "Only One," which features him holding and spending time with North.
USA Today reports West debuted the "Only One" music video earlier this week on "The Ellen Degeneres Show."

West released his single "Only One" featuring Paul McCartney at the start of the new year. He also issued a press release obtained by Consequence of Sound, explaining that "Only One"–a song about his daughter, North–emerged during a moment in the studio when he felt as though his mother, Donda, was speaking through him to North.
"My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter," he said.
West said the lyrics to the song's chorus that read, "Hello, my only one. Just like the morning sun. You'll keep on rising till the sky knows your name," were created by his mother through him.
"Something powerful and undeniable had occurred through the power of music and of letting go. A message had been passed down through generations," concludes the press release.
Kim Kardashian also promoted West's single on her Instagram and revealed the song always makes her cry.
