Blue Ivy Carter Age & 2015 News: Beyonce and Jay Z Reportedly Enroll Toddler in 'Elite' School With $15K Tuition
It seems like it was just yesterday when Beyonce and Jay Z stopped the world when they announced in 2011 that they were expecting their first child. Now, their daughter is already 3 years old and enrolled in school. Where did the time go?
According to TMZ, the superstar couple is in the process of moving to Los Angeles and has enrolled Blue Ivy Carter into one of L.A.'s top private schools.
The couple, who has been living in New York City for the past few years, is currently living out of a Beverly Hills hotel while they continue their hunt for an estate in either Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills or Bel-Air. Sources say the music moguls decided to move because they want "a change in lifestyle."
In the meantime, little Blue is reportedly all set up to starting attending an "elite private school," which costs $15,080 in tuition per year, said inside sources. Insiders also say that Blue was admitted halfway through the school year, which is unusual since the school usually only accepts new students at the beginning of the school year.
Last month, Blue celebrated her third birthday like a princess on Jan. 7. Beyonce shared a black-and-white photo of Blue's custom-made birthday cake modeled after immensely popular Disney film "Frozen." The following day, Queen Bey uploaded a photo of her daughter enjoying a slice of the giant rainbow cake. In the overhead shot, little Blue is seen eating her birthday cake in a pink dress and a gold bracelet.
Blue's aunt, Solange Knowles, also shared an adorable snap of Blue, along with a loving message in honor of her special day.
"My twin, my fellow sassy pants, my dancing partner, my incredibly smart, beautiful, niece-y-poo, turns 3 today! I love her so much," wrote Solange as a caption on the photo she posted onto her Instagram page. In the picture, Blue is seen putting makeup on her aunt's face.
