TV fans can expect to see more dysfunction in the Mikaelsons clan in the next all-new episode of "The Originals."

During last week's episode, "Sanctuary," Rebekah was introduced to her long lost sister, Freya. Although it was presumed that she was dead, it turns out that she is actually an extremely powerful and angry witch, notes the Hollywood Gossip.

In Monday's upcoming episode, which is titled "The Devil Is Damned," Vincent will team up with a powerful figure from his past in order to get the upper hand over his siblings. Meanwhile, Klaus will be forced to trust his brothers and sister in order to protect Baby Hope now that Jackson and Finn are both aware his daughter is alive.

In the meantime, Kaleb will be presented with an enticing dilemma that will force him to make a difficult life or death decision.

"The Originals" star Joseph Morgan opened up about his character, Klaus Mikaelson, and his commitment to protecting Hope in a recent video interview with TV Guide.

"Since they found out that his daughter's alive and they had kind of created this ruse that Hope had died, he is all about protecting her and to do that he is going to build this sort of fortress of allies around her," Joseph teased. "He's extending olive branches. He's trying to promote the betrothal of Hayley and Jackson, and so he has a werewolf army at his fingertips. He's really all about protecting his baby."

According to Dread Central, the synopsis reads as follows:

"More dangerous than ever, Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood) remains one step ahead after joining forces with a powerful figure from his past. As the threat to Hope's life grows stronger, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) realizes he has no choice but to place his trust in his siblings to ensure she remains protected. Meanwhile, after being presented with an enticing proposition, Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman) is forced to make a difficult life or death decision, and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) finds himself in the fight of his life after an unexpected visitor arrives at the safe house. At the bayou, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) continue to prepare for the unification ritual, but things quickly go awry when they become pawns in Vincent's dangerous plan."

Season 2, Episode 13 of "The Originals," titled "The Devil Is Damned," will premiere Monday, Feb. 9 on the CW.
