Rumors are swirling 39-year-old talk show host and notorious funny lady Chelsea Handler might be expecting her first child.

InTouch Weekly reports Handler has largely sparked the rumors based on some of her most recent social media postings. In one Instagram post, Handler pasted a picture of her beloved pup Chunk starring at her from the passenger seat.

"It's like a 24 hour watch. He must know I'm pregnant," the caption said.

In the past, Handler has insisted she has no plans of ever becoming a mother.

"I definitely don't want to have kids. I don't think I'd be a great mother," she once told reporters during a 2013 interview,.

andler, who recently left her "Chelsea Lately" E! Network talk show, later added that she doesn't "want to have a kid and have it raised by a nanny.

"I don't have time to raise a child," she explained. "Childhood was heartbreaking enough for anybody. I don't know that I could handle my own child, especially if I had a girl, going through what I went through growing up."

While it's not known who Handler might now be dating, according to Heavy.com she has previously been romantically linked to the likes of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Ted Harbert, David Alan Grier, Andre Balazs and Dave Salmoni.

In announcing her plans to leave late night TV, Handler said in a prepared statement "I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years. I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went."

Handler is no stranger to causing an uproar via social media. She recently shared a photo of herself atop a camel wearing nothing but Star of David pasties covering her chest.
