Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 9 - DWTS Results & Recap: Shocking Elimination Of Elizabeth Berkley
Celebrity contestants continued to be challenged on Dancing With The Stars season 17 week 9 night. The remaining six couples danced twice, the first one with their dancing partner for the season and the second for a "trio challenge."
Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff - 58 points
The couple delivered a performance that was described by the judges as dreamy and almost perfect. Even Bruno mentioned that it was totally breathtaking.
Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Val Chmerkovskiy - 56 points
Judges said there was a lot of connection during the dance between the two dancers. Elizabeth Berkley followed her dancing partner's lead with complete surrender.
Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke - 54 points
The scores almost reached perfect 10s except for Bruno's 9. Jack's attempt for the trio challenge was not as great but it certainly looked fun to watch for most.
Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani - 54 points
A very tough routine was choreographed by the celebrity but it was done on purpose, OnTheRedCarpet reported. It was noticeable by many how Leah has improved much as the season goes.
Amber Riley and Derek Hough - 51 points
If you've been a consistent fan of the season, then anyone can feel the pain that Amber is feeling in her injured knees. However, she and dancing partner were still able to pull everything through that they still got triple 9s especially for her Salsa performance.
Bill Engvall and Emma Slater - 42 points
Bill may have lots of fans voting for him but he surely knows that he is the weakest contestant at the moment. The judges did not hesitate anymore in giving him triple 7s for the night for both challenge rounds.
As for the one who got eliminated? It shocked everyone that it was Elizabeth Berkley who had to go even if she achieved perfect 10s during the Dancing With The Stars season 17 week 9 episode. She bid goodbye by saying too how grateful she was for such an amazing opportunity of being a part of the dance reality show.
