Breaking Bad Alternate Ending Video: Malcolm in the Middle Dad Hal Was Dreaming the Whole Time?
It looks like "Breaking Bad" isn't done creating a buzz. The hit show might have come to an end on your television, but it is soon to be released as a DVD package this upcoming Nov. 26. Well, it seems like we just couldn't wait until then, as a very unexpected and kooky alternate ending to the notorious dark series was leaked on YouTube this past weekend.
Viewers were thrilled when "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston appeared in bed with none other than Jane Kaczmarek. Now, I don't know if you remember (how can you forget?) before Bryan Cranston became "big and bad" Walter White he was just your "all American dysfunctional dad", Hal, from the 2000-2006 series "Malcolm in the Middle". Yes folks.... that's where "Breaking Bad" took us!
The Daily News tells us that in this version of the "Breaking Bad" ending, Hal and Lois wake up in bed together (as they usually did on "Malcolm in the Middle") just that this morning is a particularly confusing one for Hal. He tells Lois about this bizarre nightmare, as he puts it, where he lived a reckless life of drugs, murder and hot blondes. He continues to explain that in this very lively dream he cooked meth, dealt drugs, killed people and was married to a "tall beautiful blonde". He also describes Hank Schrader, his brother in law and enemy, as looking like the guy from "The Shield" says USA Today. Lois replies with "I told you not to eat those deep fried Twinkies" and a sarcastic "keep dreaming" to his marriage to Skyler White.
But Hal cannot seem to let this feeling go, proceeding to put some moves on Lois that Walter put on Skyler on the early days of "Breaking Bad". Lois, however, doesn't give him the response he wanted telling him to cut it out, she is trying to get some sleep. Hal then gives up, turns off the light and says "Goodnight Skyler" and as the scene leaves us we see Walter White's one and only Heisenberg hat sitting on a chair next to the bed with the "Malcolm in the Middle" tune playing in the background.
Now if that isn't the most unexpected, time traveling, anxiety booster, mysterious and hilarious ending.... I don't know what is. What did you think of this alternate ending? By the way if you didn't catch this leak, you will have to wait to purchase the DVD package since well, the "reveal" has been yanked off of YouTube already. Sorry "Breakingbadders".
