Gamers will soon be able to see what it looks like through the visor of "Halo's" Master Chief when a "Halo"-inspired motorcycle helmet comes out in July.

Polygon reports the helmet will be called the "Halo" Spartan Army motorcycle helmet and will start shipping in July. National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) will make the helmet.

NECA says the helmet will have front-air intakes to reduce fogging and rear air vents to keep the motorcycle rider's head cool. Riders who wear glasses will be able to wear the helmet too, thanks to its roomy front.

Being able to ride around looking like a video game character will excite many "Halo" fans.

"We love seeing the Halo worlds and aspects of its universe being translated into new forms and functions, but it's rare that we get the chance to see its rules, modes of play and strategies reinterpreted through another lens," franchise development director Frank O'Connor said.

The helmet will come in four sizes from small to extra large.

NECA listed these additional features for the helmet:

  • Reflective shield with UV protection
  • Double D-ring nylon chin strap with snap secure
  • Game-authentic deco
  • Contoured center pad with a design that allows heat to dissipate from the top of the scalp
  • Dual-layer EPS cheek pads for a firm, comfortable fit
  • Center pad and cheek pads are removable and washable
  • Soft, moisture-wicking material

No price has been given on the helmet, but given its detail expect to pay a hefty sum for it.

The street-legal helmet has been hinted at since 2013, Polygon first reported. A partnership between "Halo's" 343 Industries and NECA in 2013 allowed this helmet to become a reality. The two companies formed the partnership that will lead to action figures, mini figures, prop replicas, board games and, of course, this helmet, according to IGN.
