Justin Bieber Music Mondays Songs: Singer Releases R. Kelly Collaboration 'PYD' [LISTEN]
Justin Bieber released a new track titled "PYD," which features a guest appearance from Chicago R&B singer R. Kelly, as part of his ongoing "Music Mondays" series.
R. Kelly took Instagram to post up the cover art for their collaboration, which shows a simple-computer graphic lettering of "PYD" in purple on a white background. He wrote the following caption, "My track with @justinbieber drops at midnight tonight. Excited about this one, its gonna be another classic."
In "PYD," which is short for "Put You Down," is a sultry, love and soul cut, where the 19-year-old pop star seductively says, "I'm gonna put you down" over a minimal electronic beat and synthesizers in the background. R. Kelly then joins in about halfway through the track, where he talks about a woman whose "Body ain't been touched the right way."
Including "PYD," Bieber has now released a total of seven songs every Monday. The "Music Mondays" tracks are not part of his future album release.
The Canadian singer's South America tour has been quite eventful, full of controversial happenings and news headlines. With such bad reputation, Bieber has already been grabbing negative attentions in Australia ahead of his upcoming tour there, which is described as "the concert no one wants to go to anymore." His next tour will be in Auckland, New Zealand starting on November 23, then shifting to Brisbane, Australia on November 26.
In addition to his recent collaboration with Lady Gaga on "Do What U Want," R. Kelly's forthcoming album, "Black Panties," is scheduled for a release on December 10.
