Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey Divorce: 'Wild 'N Out' Star Reportedly Spotted Holding Hands With Nicole Murphy on Valentine's Day in NYC
Talk of a budding romance between Nick Cannon and Nicole Murphy continues to pick up steam after the pair were spotted out and about together over Valentine's Day weekend in New York City.
People Magazine reports the pair dined out together on Valentine's Day at Tavern on the Green.
"They came in at about 11 p.m., casually dressed but looking terrific," a source told the magazine. "Clearly they were on a date. They held hands, were very nice to everyone. They were gone within an hour."
The pair reportedly dined on oysters, filet mignon, mushroom soup and carbonara pasta, washing it all down with a steady flow of wine.
Thirty-four-year-old Cannon is in the midst of a messy divorce from R&B diva Mariah Carey. The couple was married for six-years years and had twin children together before Cannon formally filed for divorce in January of this year.
Since then, Carey has slapped him with a legal order that prevents him from speaking in any great detail about their life together or their breakup. The decree saddles Cannon with severe financial penalties if he's found in violation.
Forty-seven-year-old Murphy was previously married to Eddie Murphy, and the two have five children together. More recently, she was engaged to NFL Hall of Famer and "Kelly and Michael" early morning talk show host Michael Strahan. After being engaged for more than five years, the two recently announced they had ended their long-distance relationship.
In recent times, Cannon, host of the "America's Got Talent Show, has found himself denying rumors of being romantically involved with Amber Rose, the estranged wife of hip hop star Wiz Khalifia. Both Cannon and Rose have insisted their relationship is purely platonic and he only serves as her manager.
Cannon and Murphy were also spotted out dining together with friends earlier this month in New York City.
