Blue Ivy Carter Instagram Pictures: Beyonce Buys Daughter Converse Sneakers, Invests in Her Music Education [Pics]
Converse sneakers have been popular for years all over the world, and fashion icon Beyoncé seems to approve of the iconic American brand.
The 33-year-old singer not only enjoys wearing the canvas footwear herself, but she has apparently also outfitted her 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with a pair.
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were spotted in matching Converse shoes on the singer's Instagram page. The two both wore black, All-Star trainers with white soles and laces.
"They even wore their shoelaces the same way, balled into knots on the sides instead of tied into bows that might easily come untied," Daily Mail detailed.
The Instagram picture came with no caption to indicate what mother and daughter were up to, but it looked as though they were standing on a white-painted hopscotch game with a green background, according to Daily Mail.
Also unclear was how Blue Ivy's godmother, Rihanna, felt about all the Converse buzz. The 26-year-old singer might have preferred a different brand for the wife and daughter of rapper Jay-Z, given that she on as a global brand ambassador for the German fashion label Puma last year.
Beyond fashion statements, Beyoncé is also invested in her daughter's musical education, Elle reported. The youngster is already the youngest person ever on the Billboard charts because she is credited on her dad's song "Glory," which features her cooing and crying from the cradle, TIME noted.
And now, Blue Ivy is "ready to start her own band," Elle insisted, because "Roots" percussionist Questlove observed her playing the drums during a Grammys rehearsal.
The musician confirmed to Vulture that Blue Ivy has got what it takes. "She's 3," Quest said when the magazine inquired about how she played, but she "most definitely" has rhythm.
And in a tongue-in-cheek comment, Elle explained why Questlove may not have been even more effusive in his praise for Beyoncé's daughter's percussion skills.
"He's clearly holding back the hype until she releases a surprise album this winter," the magazine said. "Now, someone, anyone, please find us video!"
