Miley Cyrus has lately been extremely busy with promoting her recently released album "Bangerz" and planning to kick off her upcoming U.S. tour on February 14. Following her lackluster performance on U.K. "X Factor" on Sunday night, during which she struggled to sing her hit single "Wrecking Ball," the pop star finally surrenders to her limit.

The twerking singer took Twitter on Monday to inform her 15.5 million fans and followers that her doctors have forced her to take a break to save her voice. "Vocal rest," Cyrus tweeted with a series of emojis wearing surgical masks. She also expressed that she is actually glad to take a brief break from singing, "Happy to get some rest. Time to go be sicky."

However, this doesn't mean that the "We Can't Stop" singer will stop promoting herself on social media. She posted a photo of herself being on the cover of Cosmopolitan's December issue on Instagram, which the publication quoted Cyrus, "It's almost punk rock to like me. Society wants to shut me down." The pop star wrote the accompanying caption, "Now that you got your tickets to #BANGERZTour, make sure to pick up the December issue of @Cosmopolitan!!!"

On the magazine cover, Cyrus is brightly smiling at the camera, clad in a partially sheer dress in nude-tone, which is decorated with lots of colorful crystals and gem pieces in light green, purple, pink and turquoise blue. She completed her look with layering gold chains, bright red lips and matching red nail polish.
