Lindsey Vonn has spent nearly a year rehabbing her injured knee but now she might have to wait even longer.

The Olympic gold medalist was training at Copper Mountain in Colorado on Tuesday when she crashed, the U.S. Ski Team confirmed. Ski team spokesperson Tom Kelly told the Associated Press that it might not be too serious and there was no indication as to whether her knee was affected in the crash.

"We have no reason to believe it's anything significant right now," he said.

Vonn's publicist, Lewis Kay, released a statement and said that a doctor is evaluating Vonn.

"We expect to have clarity on the situation in the next 24 hours," Kay said.

Vonn has worked hard to prepare for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

"I would love to win as many World Cups as possible but my main focus is definitely on the Olympics," she had said before the injury. "If I start off slow, it's fine I just want to make sure that by the time I get to Sochi that I'm 100% in those events."

Vonn has been extra careful with her knee and her doctor ordered that she wear a knee brace until the Olympics start.

"It's in my best interest to play it safe," Vonn said. "I compromised and said that as long as I don't have to wear [the brace] for the Olympics, I'll be fine.

Vonn has been in the news for more than just her skiing and rehab progress; she now dates Tiger Woods and is often times seen with him at his golf outings. She was seen with him last week at the Denver Broncos game.
