'Criminal Minds' Season 10, Episode 16 Spoilers: BAU to Hunt for Killer in Maximum State Prison in 'Lockdown'
Fans of CBS' "Criminal Minds" can look forward to another exciting and intense episode when the drama series returns with an all-new episode next month.
During the upcoming episode, which is entitled "Lockdown," the BAU will go on a hunt for a killer at a maximum security prison after two prison guards are murdered. As a result, viewers will get an inside look at the prison system, notes Carter Matt.
According to Carter Matt, the official synopsis for the next episode reads as follows:
"When two guards at a privatized maximum security prison in Texas are murdered, the BAU suspects that more than one UnSub within the prison could be at work, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, March 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directed the episode. William Ragsdale ('Justified,' 'Herman's Head') guest stars as prison captain Dale Shavers."
Unfortunately, the long-running police drama is going to go on a short hiatus and will not return until Wednesday, March 4. However, there will be at least two more new installments in the month of March, airing on the 11 and the 25.
In the last episode, which was titled "Screams," the BAU tracked down a psychopathic killer who witnessed his father domestically abuse his mother and a murder-suicide. Later on he became a social worker who preyed upon lonely and insecure women by torturing them and recording their screams.
The FBI agents began searching for a 30-something white male with a history of psychological issues. Eventually, their search led them to a man named Peter Folkmore.
The team was able to locate Peter while he was in the act of hurting one of his victims in his home. Once JJ arrives on the scene, she goes toe-to-toe with Peter before Kate opens fire and fatally shoots him, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Season 10, Episode 15 of "Criminal Minds," "Lockdown" will air on Wednesday, March 4 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
