Prince William recently admitted that he would love to get Sony's latest games console, just like all the other men out there. However, he suggested that his wife Kate Middleton won't let him, especially following the birth of their now 4-month-old son Prince George.

The Duke of Cambridge visited the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in London to attend an event that promoted careers in film, television and gaming to talented young people who seek their future in entertainment industry. He then was shown the new PlayStation 4. "It's very addictive," Prince William commented. "I'd like to get one but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about it."

PlayStation 4 is slated to go on sale in England on November 29 and retails for £349.99. During his visit, the heir to the British throne gave it a try at three video games, which were developed by winners of the BAFTA Young Game Designers competition.

"The U.K.'s game industry is one of the strongest in the world. Our developers are more in demand than ever before, so I hope the young people take inspiration from today's workshop, and get a taste for what a career in games might be like," the Duke of Cambridge said, endorsing BAFTA's "Give Something Back" campaign that encourages children to aim for careers in the industry.

"I know that I, for one, as an enthusiastic but quite useless gamer, look forward to playing the weird and wonderful games which these young people dream up in the future," Prince William added.
