Chris Brown had no choice but to cancel tour dates in Canada because he was denied entry into the country -- is his enemy Drake to blame?
"Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto," he tweeted to fans before deleting the post. "The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"
As part of his ongoing "Between the Sheets" tour with Trey Songz and Tyga, Brown was originally scheduled to perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Wednesday.
Live Nation also said in a statement that the two concerts have been canceled, "due to immigration issues," and refunds are available at the point of purchase.
The tour cancelation follows the "6 God" rapper's recent diss at the "New Flame" crooner. During his set in Auckland, New Zealand, Drizzy changed his "Energy" lyric, seemingly throwing shade at his longtime rival.
"R&B n---as that I gotta act like I like/ But my actin' days are over, f--k them n---as for life, boy," he rapped on the "If You're Reading This, It's Too Late" track, substituting "R&B n---as" for "rap n---as."
With that being said, many assumed that the Toronto emcee was the one who made sure Breezy could not cross the Canadian border, tweeting:
