Amanda Bynes was admitted into a UCLA Psych Ward on July 24th, after a witness spotted her lying on someone's driveway in California, with flames on her pant legs from a small gasoline fire she had started herself.

"The Amanda Show" actress was then moved in Sept. to a luxurious rehab center in Malibu, after conservatorship was finally granted to her parents. TMZ reports that Amanda will actually be allowed to go home for Christmas since sources say, "Amanda's meds and psychological counseling have sufficiently stabilized her". Doctors will release Amanda to her mom, who will take her straight to their family home and provide complete supervision of the starlet.

Guess what else Amanda can now do? Stand trial for her DUI case. This morning, the Mental Health Court found that Bynes is "mentally capable of understanding the court proceedings and the charges she is facing". Reports say that her lawyer "didn't object to the charges and now they'll move forward with the criminal case". She is sane enough for trial but not enough to take care of herself or break free of her conservatorship. Byne's fate will now be in the judge's hands, knowing what she has been through this year and find a fair verdict for the former "Nickelodeon" star.

We're happy to hear that Amanda is getting better. Especially us 90's kids who grew up watching her on "All That" and various other shows and movies. Nick Cannon, a fellow co-worker and friend of Amanda Bynes, wrote her an open letter expressing how much he cared about his talented friend and letting her know that he is rooting for her to get better. We hope to have the Amanda who we all love and admire back soon, the girl who kept us laughing for so many years shouldn't be left unsupported when she needs her fans the most.
