North West News 2015: Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Building Jungle Gym on $20M Home for Baby Nori
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are in the process of building a jungle gym for their toddler daughter on the grounds of the $20 million Hidden Hills, California property they recently purchased.
According to The DailyMail, early pictures snapped of the added construction to the 3.5-acre home display the wooden framework of a large playground being erected in the back yard of the home. The area also features two platforms linked together by curved monkey bars and multiple swimming pools.
The 16,000-square-foot home also comes with full vineyard, eight fireplaces and a small guest home West has reportedly turned into his own recording studio.
Initially, West and Kardashian were rumored to have paid just under $3 million for the 2,842-square-foot home, but have already added to it by acquiring the adjacent property and expanding. The 35-year-old rap star also recently redecorated the entire residence with all-new furniture.
"The singer's eye for design had been trained on the Hidden Hills estate he and Kim moved into this year," a source recently told The Hollywood Reporter. "The couple had new furnishings installed, but West decided immediately that the look wasn't right so he had every piece of furniture removed, and they started from scratch."
In recent days, the outspoken West has seemingly worn his heart on his sleeve. He recently had tattoos of both his daughter and mother's birthday drawn on his wrists. And after a six-year running feud with Taylor Swift brought on by his diss of her 2009 MTV VMA win for the Best Female Video category, West made up with the "Blank Space" singer at this year's Grammys.
The two posed for photos together during the night and are now even rumored to be considering working on new music together. While recently appearing on an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, West told the host he feels as if his wife and daughter have made him a better person.
