'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Cast & News: Dakota Johnson's SNL ISIS Skit Slammed by Social Media Users
Dakota Johnson's "SNL" spoof about ISIS has sparked outrage among many social media users, Yahoo! News reports.
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" star participated in an "SNL" commercial inspired by the Toyota commercial about an army-bound girl being dropped off at the airport by her father.
In the "SNL" spoof, Johnson plays Taran Killam's daughter. But instead of sending his daughter off to the U.S. army, Killam sends Johnson off to join the Islamic state militant group also known as ISIS, Yahoo! News reports.
"You be careful, OK?" said Killam during the spoof.
"Dad, it's just ISIS," Johnson replied.
The spoof then concludes with a voiceover assuring Killam that Johnson is in good hands.
"ISIS: We'll take it from here, Dad," said the voiceover.
Following the spoof, Twitter users voiced their negative opinion on the ISIS-related commercial. The general consensus among social media users was that the commercial was done in poor taste, TMZ states.

But despite the backlash, Killam went on Twitter to defend the commercial and insisted that he was proud of the SNL skit.
Johnson's mother, Melanie Griffith, also applauded Johnson's "SNL" appearance, claiming that she "loved everything" Johnson did on the show.
