Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Family Reportedly Split on Ending Life Support; Nick Gordon Refuses Offer to Visit Her
Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has not improved since she was found unconscious at her Roswell, Georgia, home in a bathtub on Jan. 31 and remains on life support. Fox News reports her condition is actually worse.
Last week, the daughter of Whitney Houston was taken out of a medically induced coma per the family's request but suffered "violent seizures" as a result. The family had no choice but to reinstate the medically induced coma.
While the seizures have stopped, Bobbi Kristina is now reportedly showing "absolutely no signs of life." The family is faced with the difficult decision whether or not to withdraw life support. The looming decision has reportedly caused even more division within the Houston and Brown families.
Cissy Houston, the mother of the late Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, wants to remove her from life support, according to Fox News, but Bobby is reluctant.
"It is really on Bobby Brown's shoulders to let her go in peace," a family source said. "It is something that the Houston and Brown [families] had agreed to do as early as February 11, but Bobby Brown reneged."
Bobby has reportedly not accepted the dire reality concerning his daughter's health.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon continues to be targeted in the criminal investigation and remains estranged from both Houston and Brown families.
Bobby offered him the chance to visit Bobbi Kristina if he agreed to a police interview addressing what happened leading up to her being found face down in the bathtub. Gordon's attorneys advised against it.
"We are only concerned with individuals that can help Bobbi Kristina and bring resolution to the investigation," Brown's attorney told TMZ. "Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe."
"My heart is full of angry after the Browns have shut me out they don't even know her. Sabotage," Gordon tweeted Feb. 25.
Gordon continues to send his support through social media to Bobbi Kristina. He tweeted on March 2, addressing her father, "I forgive you @KingBobbyBrown much love I wish we could get together and deal with this as fam."
Three minutes later he tweeted to Bobbi Kristina, "Your Birthday is coming up @REALbkBrown (baby) you know I'm only staying strong for you out here."
Bobbi Kristina's birthday is March 4, leading many to wonder if the family will withdraw life support on that date.
