Mick Jagger, lead singer of The Rolling Stones, has confirmed today that he is about to become a great-grandfather! 

According to The Guardian, all of the Rolling Stones are grandparents, but Mick will become the first great-grandparent at 70 years old. Jade Jagger -- Mick's 42-year-old, half-Latina daughter (her mother is Mick's first wife, Nicaragua-born Bianca Jagger) -- has confirmed that her 21-year-old daughter, Assisi, will make Mick a first-time great-grandfather early in 2014. And despite his hard-partying persona and reputation, Jade says her father is very much the happy family man.

"I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact whereas, now, making him a great-grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating," she said. "My dad has always been great at keeping the family together and having those important moments - Christmas parties, his birthday. We'll be spending New Year's Eve together, nearly all of us [in Mustique]." 

Mick has seven children with four different women, and four grandchildren (two through Jade, and another two through Karis Jagger-Hunt, his daughter with former girlfriend Marsha Hunt).

With all these grandchildren and now great-grandchildren to spoil, Mick and the Stones have to work -- and, according to E! News, after making a splash (and lots of cash) earlier this year touring the States and the U.K. to celebrate their 50th anniversary, the World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band is set to play a series of gigs in Australia that kick off in Adelaide next March.
