Evelyn Lozada says she turned down offer to appear in VH1's new season of "Basketball Wives LA."

"I was given an offer, but declined. Just not a good fit for my life, I've moved on," she said, in response to a fan's question about why she was not on the new season of "Basketball Wives LA." 

In a series of recent tweets, the current fiancee of L.A. Dodgers star outfielder Carl Crawford and new mother to a baby boy explained that even $2 million dollars was not enough.

"LOL 2 mill is not worth the risk," she said, in response to a fan asking if that would persuade her to be on the show. 

Lozada previously starred for five seasons on the original version of the show, which was set in Miami. Her former cast mates, Shaunie O'Neal and Tami Roman, have been spotted out and about in Los Angeles shooting scenes for the upcoming season.

Lozada, 39, also previously starred alongside her then NFL husband Chad Ochocinco in the reality show "Ev and Ocho."

Afte being engaged for more than two years, the two were married in a lavish ceremony in Miami in July of 2012. The couple's wedding was filmed for their show and Ochocinco live tweeted portions of it to his more than 3.5 million Twitter followers.

But their split was just as dramatic and pronounced. After just two months, Lozada filed for divorce claiming physical abuse on the part of the former NFL star. TMZ later released photos of her with a bloody cut on her forehead which she claimed was the result of Johnson headbutting her. Ultimately, Johnson was sentenced to 12 months probation stemming from the attack and ordered to attend domestic violence classes.

During a subsequent probation hearing, Johnson was remanded to custody for 30 days after the judge observed him slapping his attorney's backside.

O'Neal and Roman are expecting to join "Basketball Wives LA" regular cast members Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie. Newcomers Mehgan James, Patrice Curry and Angel Brinks complete the cast.

In another tweet, Lozado sought to thank her fans for their support and interest. "Sooooo many sweet tweets from everyone," she wrote. "Thank you for still being here through the good & bad. BBW would be nothing without the fans."
