Chris Brown Baby News: 'New Flame' Singer Allegedly Petitioning for Lower Child Support Payments After Baby's Mother Violates Terms
Chris Brown allegedly plans to petition a family court judge for lower child support payments after the mother of his child violated the terms of an agreement prohibiting her from publicly talking about their love child.
According to TMZ, after learning he was the father of Nia Guzman's 9-month-old daughter, Brown supposedly agreed to pay her more child support than he is legally obligated to, providing she remain quiet about their one-time relationship.
The website adds Brown is now convinced Guzman has been leaking stories to the media about their daughter and the nature of the relationship they once shared. As a result, lawyers for Brown are now reportedly preparing legal measures aimed at altering the terms of their agreement.
Several media outlets have also reported Brown has long wanted a child -- but with longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who reportedly has walked out on him since allegations of his fatherhood status were made public.
TMZ adds the couple frequently talked about having a child together over the last two years, but Tran wanted to be married before taking that step. A source now tells the website she's "devastated he did this."
Tran had no idea about Brown's supposed dalliances and was even more troubled over the fact he now has a child with someone she once hung out with. TMZ also reports Brown and Tran had a "blowout fight a week ago" after the news broke and were no longer speaking.
Brown and Guzman are reported to be no longer romantically linked, but prior to a few days ago were thought to be getting along fine. The 25-year-old "Loyal" singer also previously dated singer Rhianna and recently told hosts of the "Breakfast Club" radio show he once hoped to have children with her.
