Drake Hot New Music 2015: Check Out '10 Bands' Rapper's Unreleased Verse on 'Madonna' Remix [Listen]
It's Toronto-meets-Houston: "Madonna," one of the most celebrated tracks off Drake's latest mixtape, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," gets a chopped and screwed remix treatment from OG Ron C.
This is certainly not the first time that H-Town's famous DJ has done a remake of Drizzy's music, as he released his own rendition of the latter's third studio album,"Nothing Was the Same," back in 2013.
Accompanied by his crew The Chopstars, not only did Ron C slow down the "10 Bands" rapper's original song inspired by the pop icon, but he also added an unreleased verse.
In the unheard verse, which is played at around the 3:33 mark, Drake is heard telling his lady in a deeper voice to ride out with him even if her hair and makeup are not done.
Meanwhile, Madonna recently took to her Instagram account to name the track as her favorite.
"@champagnepapi i love your new song about me! It's my favorite! I'm still waiting for you to pick me up........ Ask D for my address! I knew you were a #rebelheart!" she said
She also revealed her plan to collaborate with the "6 God" rapper in the near future.
"I heard the whole mixtape, and it's the best song," she told Complex. "We're gonna work together. Yeah, baby, it's in the pipeline."
The latest remix version of "Madonna" is the first preview of OG Ron C's upcoming album, "If You're Choppin' This, It's Too Late," obviously inspired by Drake's surprise project.
Check out the ChopNotSlop remix of "Madonna," as well as the full lyrics of the exclusive second verse below:
"Plan this sh*t out on my own, the way it should go / Wrote it in code then wrote it in stone /â¨So they'll never knowâ¨/ But I might tell you one day you never knowâ¨/ We'll see how I feel, we'll see if you hold up your end of the dealâ¨/ For now let me handle the wheel and don't worry about doing your hairâ¨/ Or what you should wearâ¨/ This not a video shoot I don't care, don't over prepareâ¨/ Got to remind me again where you stayâ¨/ Even though I might know the way but just in case I miss the roadâ¨/ Pulling up on you just be ready to go."
