Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013: Route, Tickets, Celebrities and Live Streaming
It's Thanksgiving Day and that means New York City's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be hitting the streets! This marks the 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which you can now live stream, cozy at home, online from your smartphones, tablets or computers. The parade streams online live from Manhattan at 9 a.m. ET and airs on television on NBC. Due to the chilly and windy extreme New York weather, there is a possibility that not all of the floats and acts will be able to display their magic on the streets today, however nothing has been confirmed as of yet. The parade will continue as planned so far.
The parade begins at 77th St. and Central Park West, then moves down Columbus Circle to Central Park South and 6th Ave, past 59th and descends along 34th St. The parade will makes it's final destination Macy's Herald Square, where the monumental store stands.
Some of the acts include Broadway's theatrical acts like "Matilda", "Kinky Boots" and of course "Pippin". We will also see a great line up of celebrities who are making an appearance or performing. This year Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, Fall Out Boy, The Roots and Florida Georgia Line are just some of the musical acts! You will also catch a glimpse of New York's very own Jimmy Fallon, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri, Kristin Chenoweth, Kellie Pickler, Megan Hilty and none other than The Duck Dynasty Family. Make sure to tune in and see all of the stars that will be present, also including legendary bands like the Goo Goo Dollas and Richard Simmons.
