In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Kevin Federline opened up about his 2004-2007 marriage to Britney Spears, Us Weekly reports.

Federline described his romance with Spears as "whirlwind" and suggested that the fame was the reason why the couple eventually split.

"That time, it's like a whirlwind," Federline revealed. "You know, you're thrown into this limelight ... Everything kinda happened."

But despite having a few hectic moments during his marriage, Federline still refers to his relationship with Spears as a good time, especially because it resulted in having two children, Sean, 9, and Jayden, 8.

"I mean, it was a good time in my life," Federline recalled. "We have two beautiful children. The way that everything has turned out, everybody's happy. Co-parenting is going great. I can't complain."

And though they are no longer together, Federline revealed that he and Spears have an amicable co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.

"We talk when we need to, and it's always about the boys -- mostly school stuff and making sure we stay on top of that," he explained. "It's going great. I'm in a happy place right now."

Us Weekly reports that Federline is now married to former volleyball player Victoria Prince, with whom he has two daughters -- Jordan, 3, and Peyton, 10 months.

Federline is also the father of two other children: Kori and Kaleb, who he had with his ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson.

Meanwhile, Spears is currently linked to Charlie Ebersol, the son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator Dick Ebersol.

Spears confirmed her relationship with Ebersol back in November when she shared a selfie photo with him.

Later in December, Spears posted another photo of Ebersol spending time with her sons on Christmas.

At the time of Spears' relationship confirmation, E! News sources reported that Spears and Ebersol were smitten with each other.

"He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another," the E! News source adds. "They are both very happy and having fun."
