'Being Mary Jane' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Mary Jane Forced to Move On With Her Life, Her Motivations With David Will Be Clear
“Being Mary Jane,” the hot BET series that focuses on the interior world of a successful broadcast journalist trying to manage a life riddled with personal anxiety and professional duplicity, is in its second season of tension-filled drama.
And perhaps the main character, played with gorgeous confidence by model, political activist and Planned Parenthood-spokeswoman Gabrielle Union, is ready to let things simmer down a bit.
In the course of the series there have been doomed affairs, infidelities, alcoholic relapses, business-related backstabbing, attempts to hide a character’s homosexuality, and efforts to conceive a child.
An upcoming episode has our heroine trying to get a lot of the loose ends in her life tied up.
As reported by TV.com, Episode 7, “Let’s Go Crazy,” has Mary Jane’s motivations regarding her relationship with her love interest David finally made clear.
Mary Jane will, through the inspiration provided from a “Talk Back” segment, be spurred to forget about her recent stresses and move on with her life, repairing relationships that have been strained.
Set on a new way of thinking Mary Jane will further decide to change the "Talk Back" segment. And there is no telling how this will affect her relationship with Kara, her producer and friend.
With the success of her show, and a vocal adoration from her fans, things seem to be going perfectly for the actress who perhaps uses her own life-skills as inspiration for her character.
In an interview with Uptown Magazine, Union, despite being a big star, describes her rainy day mentality, saying: “I live so far below my means that if the career was taken away, I could get a job based on my level of education and my job skills, and I could still afford what I have. I plan ahead for the destruction, my financial ruin.”
The new episode will air March 17.
