Adrien Broner wants to become a world champion again, but "The Problem" wants to face British boxer Amir Khan in his next fight before securing a title shot.

Broner, who holds an impressive 30-1 record with 22 knockout victories, challenged Khan to a fight through a post on Instagram, where he declared that he is ready to face the Briton anytime.

"No disrespect to Virgil hunter he is a great coach and I got endless love for him but me and Amir khan can fight at the end of this month," Broner wrote on Instagram. "I haven't taken any punishment. I'm back in the gym and ready to make a fool out of anybody."

Responding to the challenge, Khan took to Twitter to announce that he is also open to facing Broner, the former World Boxing Association welterweight champion.

Broner, who was being dubbed as the next big thing in boxing before absorbing a costly loss to Marcos Maidana during their WBA World welterweight title showdown in December 2013, is climbing up the rankings again after scoring three consecutive victories.

The 25-year-old light welterweight ran away with a unanimous decision win against John Molina Jr. in the inaugural Premier Boxing Champions on NBC, which was a brainchild of boxing adviser Al Haymon. Before the win on Saturday, Broner also scored a unanimous decision victory against Emmanuel Taylor in September and Carlos Molina in May.

On the other hand, Khan, who has a 30-3 record with 19 knockout victories, is coming off a lopsided decision win against Devon Alexander in December, which came seven months after dominating Luis Collazo in May.

Khan, a former lightweight world champion, has been lobbying for a fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, like last year when Mayweather opted to face Maidana,

Khan will have to wait for his turn again after the reigning pound-for-pound king decided to face Manny Pacquiao on May 2 at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a post on his Twitter account, Khan said he also wants to face Miguel Cotto, Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez and even Pacquiao, his former sparring partner, after the Filipino boxing icon's fight against Mayweather.

Khan also revealed that he will announce his next opponent soon, but denied rumors that he will be featured in one of the undercards of the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
