Selena Gomez Weight Gain 2015: 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' Singer Puts on 10 Pounds Due to New Romance with Zedd, Ex-Boyfriend Justin Bieber Loves Her Curvy Body?
Following her split from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez has reportedly gained 10 pounds due to her new romance with boyfriend Zedd.
As unexpected, the pop star is actually happy about packing on the pounds, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"Selena has gained some love pounds and she's ecstatic about it," a source revealed. "She's put on a good 10 pounds since falling for Zedd and she couldn't be happier about it."
The source continued that Gomez now feels comfortable in her own skin and does not feel the need to lose weight at all:
"She calls it her 'Zedd Pounds.' She's been in a good place and feeling good about herself so she's not obsessing about her body. She feels like she's curvy in the right places and doesn't want to be anorexia skinny like some of the girls she knows."
"The Heart Wants What It Wants" crooner was apparently self-conscious before, when she was in a stressful, on-and-off relationship with her ex-boyfriend.
"She wasn't healthy when she was with Justin and she knows it," the source added. "Yes, she was skinnier, but it's usually because she couldn't eat, as she was so upset about her relationship or she felt he would leave her if she gained weight."
However, another source claimed otherwise: the Canadian singer "never told her to get skinner, it was always the opposite," because "him and his friends were always talking about girls with big booties."
With that being said, Gomez is reportedly glad about her weight gain, since "she knows Justin loves her new booty, that's his thing. He's always been a butt guy."
Most importantly, the source added that Zedd also loves Selena Gomez's new physique: "Selena says Zedd loves her curves and the more, the better. Zedd has been telling her over and over again that she's never looked sexier with her voluptuous figure."
