WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for March 19, 2015: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins in Main Event; Intercontinental Title Gauntlet Confirmed
From Kansas City, Missouri, Thursday's edition of "SmackDown" will feature former Shield members competing against each other in a tag-team match...or, at least, that was the plan until a last-minute backstage attack.
"SmackDown" started with a Roman Reigns promo, but he was interrupted by the "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. Despite the altercation during the previous edition of "SmackDown," Henry came and supported Reigns, who is on a collision course with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar in the "WrestleMania 31" main event. The pro-Reigns fest ended when The Authority members Seth Rollins, Kane, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury interrupted Reigns and Henry. Rollins said he could cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at "WrestleMania 31," and he did confirm Randy Orton is banned from entering the "SmackDown" arena. A tag-team match between Reigns and Henry against Kane and Rollins was set up for the show's main event.
The Divas have the honor of having the first match of the night as former Divas Champion Paige defeated Brie Bella with a roll-up pin. Brie's sister, and current Divas Champion, Nikki Bella was at ringside while AJ Lee provided commentary.

To help promote the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at "WrestleMania," a gauntlet match was held. Dean Ambrose started the match against Stardust, and the former managed to secure a quick win. Next, Ambrose fought against R-Truth, but the latter lost to Ambrose's Dirty Deeds. Luke Harper was next and managed to defeat Ambrose. Harper, however, didn't last long as he lost against Daniel Bryan by submission. Bryan's next opponent was Dolph Ziggler, and the two reportedly had great back-and-forth action. Ziggler secured a win against Bryan and won the gauntlet match. After the match, Bad News Barrett confronted Ziggler before hitting him and Bryan with the Bull Hammer.
Meanwhile, Noble and Mercury were backstage to guarantee Orton did not enter the arena.
Mixed-tag-team competition was next with Los Matadores and El Torito against WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd with Natalya. The tag team champions secured the win, but it was Natalya that left the ring with Kidd's tag-team title.
It was main event time, but when Henry's music aired, he was nowhere to be found. Backstage, Henry was located and found unconscious. Despite Henry's absence, the match continued as a handicap match pitting Reigns against Kane and Rollins. Noble and Mercury were at ringside. Although Reigns received a beating, he hit a Superman Punch on Rollins and a spear on Kane for a victory. After the match, Orton appeared and beat down The Authority, minus Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Orton delivered several RKOs except on his rival Rollins, who managed to escape.
"SmackDown" airs Thursday nights on SyFy.
