Ximena Navarrete Might Be Taking Part in a Movie, Calls It a 'Really Interesting Project'
Ximena Navarrete is excited to take part in an upcoming movie, according to an interview with the show "Hoy," according to Esmas.
"I've been invited to act in a movie, I am reading the script, but it seems like a really interesting project," she said. "It would be cool for everything to work out this year so that it could happen."
Navarrete has appeared in the telenovela "La Tempestad" in 2013 and has worked as a model. In 2010, she won the Miss Universe contest. In "La Tempestad," she played Marina Reverte and Magdalena in 122 episodes, and she starred alongside William Levy.
In 2013, Navarette presented an award with David Zepeda for the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.
So Navarrete's appearance in a movie would be a new adventure for her. Though she has some acting experience, this would be her first movie role.
But just like modeling, it's something she can get used to. Earlier in the year, Navarrette recalled starting out as a model, according to "Hoy."
"I see a photo of when I was just barely starting out, and I see a photo now, and yes, it looks very different," she said. "There's a lot of ... advancement in this career."
Navarrete has always told people to smile as her best piece of beauty advice.
Latin Post reported that Navarrete would be moving to New York to focus on modeling, saying that she was not ready to return to acting in telenovelas.
Now, it appears an offer to Navarrete has been made that she cannot refuse. She will be heading to Monterrey, Mexico to begin shooting the movie shortly, according to Esmas.
Navarrete just turned 27 on Feb. 22. She is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico.
