One Direction Tour: Zayn Malik Reportedly Drops Out of World Tour After Cheating Allegations
One Direction will go on their world tour without member Zayn Malik.
Malik has attributed his drop out from the tour to stress, likely coming from allegations that he cheated on his fiance.
HollywoodLife.com reports that Malik may have cheated on his fiancee Perrie Edwards with a blonde girl named Lauren Rich.
Simon Jones, One Direction's U.K. rep, confirmed that Malik dropped out of the tour temporarily due to "stress." He is not expected back with the band until March 28.
"Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the U.K. to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta," Jones posted on his Twitter account.
Malik also reportedly turned down shooting a commercial with the band in Japan on Thursday. Reports say he flew back to the U.K. to deal with the cheating scandal.
Wednesday, HollywoodLife.com reported that Malik is very angry for being called a cheater. He quickly posted on Twitter that a picture showing him and another girl getting close together is not what it looks like.
"I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f***s in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x," Malik posted Wednesday afternoon on Twitter.
Malik is talking about a picture that is surfacing that shows him holding hands with a tattooed blonde in Thailand. Hollywood Reporter later discovered the blonde is Lauren Rich.
Then more pictures showed Malik and Rich together. In one picture, Malik has his arm wrapped around her bare belly.
Rich has added fuel to the fire by posting a picture with her and Malik to her Instagram page and boasting that she was with him.
"Partying with Zayn from One Direction last night," Rich captioned next to the photo.
