It's that time of the week again when Xur makes his appearance in "Destiny." If you're looking to spend your Strange Coins, make sure to head to the Tower and make your way over to the Speaker's area. 

The exotic armors that can be purchased are:

  • Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan Boots) that have 107/115 strength can be purchased for 13 Strange Coins.
  • Mask of the Third Man (Hunter Helmet) that has 93/100 intellect can be purchased for 13 Strange Coins.
  • The Apotheosis Veil (Warlock Helmet) that has 106/114 discipline can be purchased for 13 Strange Coins.

The exotic weapon that can be purchased is:

  • The Hard Light auto rifle can be purchased for 23 Strange Coins.

The exotic upgrades that can be purchased are: 

  • The Lucky Raspberry Hunter Chest that has 131/140 intellect can be purchased for the glimmer cost of 7,393.
  • The Crest of Alpha Lupi Titan Chest that has 151/162 intellect can be purchased for the glimmer cost of 7,547.
  • The Skull of Dire Ahamkara Warlock Helmet that has 95/102 intellect can be purchased for the glimmer cost of 7,907.
  • The Truth rocket launcher upgrade can be purchased for the glimmer cost of 7,039.

In order to receive an exotic upgrade to weapons and armor, Guardians will need to trade in the original exotic piece, an exotic shard and at least 7,000 Glimmer.

Xur is also selling heavy ammo, so players should stock up because his price is more affordable than the Gunsmith.

Xur started appearing Friday morning in the Tower and will leave at 4 a.m. Eastern time. 

The best way to earn Strange Coins is through weekly events. They can also be earned through public events, engrams, chests and crucible rewards.
